JUST ONE FINGER: THE WEEKLY SELECTION OF MOBILE GAMES

Difficult to sort through applications on smartphones and tablets? Between twelve clones of Angry Birds and nth runners that go straight into the wall, Gamekult load each week to decipher the news releases on the App Store and Google Play house with a small selection of iPhone games, iPad and Android essential or sometimes avoid like the plague. The goal: to avoid unpleasant surprises, but more importantly, help you discover some gems. This is not because they offer games for a pittance it takes to get stale croutons.

THE TACTICAL BREACH & CLEAR

What is it? A strategy game to turn to three-quarters.

What we think: Kind of mix between (the first) and Rainbow Six XCOM, Breach & Clear offers us to lead a squad of four soldiers to dislodge some vile terrorist stashed in the labyrinthine levels. To do this, we plan their every move on a virtual checkerboard taking care of the blind spots, by helping to protect scenery and enjoying the specialties of each. Efficient, very pretty and well done, Breach & Clear win just better to stage some attacks and working on differentiating its arsenal.

Our verdict: A strategy game perfectly suited to touch play and offers a good challenge quickly.

Tested on: iPad 4
