CRYSIS 3

Put on your tight-fitting suit, it's time to return to New York to defend the homeland, save the world and abut types we do not know in Crysis 3.

Crytek is still at the helm for the new shooter that will try to put an end (probably temporary but nevermind) to the story begun in 2007 on the beaches of white sand. A big gun, big aliens, a Big Apple, it should be okay, right? Not.

PC version: Crytek forces, Crysis 3 had to be a technology showcase on PC and this is undoubtedly the case. Pushed up, the FPS is extremely impressive, even more than in recent comparative videos where he just posted in High and not Ultra. However, some aberrations remain as these explosions sometimes seem from another age or a few textures slobbering hair. However, the game remains largely worthy of its pedigree at this level but the visual display at a price: an extreme technical delicacy that will salivate more than one graphics card vendor. Even our very robust test machine occasionally fell in the fateful 30 frames per second in the busiest scenes even though the vast majority of the game is experienced between 50 and 70 frames / sec. Visually stunning, Crysis 3 remains however below a Far Cry 3 or Crysis name side interaction with the scenery, although a little less fixed on consoles, is far too imperturbable our taste.

Beyond simple technical considerations, Crysis 3 PC is also an opportunity to invite players to increase the difficulty of the game early in the solo campaign. Overkill mouse helping the game actually becomes much simpler than console (where it was already not very hard) to the point that we just had to 2:28 of actual play to reach the end of September chapters solo normal mode. Two hours and twenty-eight minutes. It can not be invented. Multiplayer side, Crytek Studios has not forgotten the needs of the world PC including real lobby relatively well done and you can see that the community is already much more active on console. We regret that the games are again limited to 16 players, even if it ultimately did not matter so much when you consider that the only mode of play a little bit interesting (the Hunter mode) take this relative privacy . Finally, remember to allergy it is essential to go through Origin to enjoy the game on PC.

MAXIMUM LAYOUT

After tropical escapades Crysis first name and city walks of Crysis 2, the third installment of the (not always) famous franchise Crytek wants synthetic. The adventure begins so twenty years after the highly forgettable events of the last chapter in a New York City ravaged and overrun by greenery which eventually recover. Wandering the ruins, you will cross the same cousins Bambi, even if the time is not really the organization of an impromptu barbecue. The CELL, the big capitalists completely generic and which you do not care frankly bad, actually decided to conquer the world with an absolutely preposterous and only with the Prophet friend, freshly released from captivity, can stop them. Let's go for a rich adventure cut-scenes without interest, between assignments supervised by a graduate of Harvard colleague in the door opening. FPS requires great show, Crysis 3 is desperately trying to get involved in the events by multiplying the images via a narrative that makes it difficult to see. The organization's history does not help to interest us because everything sounds like the sub-Tom Clancy might have mixed to some of Boggle.

Saw that we are primarily interested in the strafing of grunts, the scenario is ultimately a donkey that spans easily zapping all those insipid interruptions scriptwriting. We want strafing, strafing we are offered as Crysis 3 shows the recipe of its predecessor at this level with a heavily armed and overpowered Prophet. Our friend the soldier of the future is made more or less invincible by total abuse of the thermo-optical camouflage borrowed Motoko Kusanagi whose energy consumption is too low to prevent clean entire level without being noticed. Impressions shooting remain very similar to those of previous games in the series and are always pleasant despite these enemies a little too strong sometimes forced to empty charger charger before moving forward.

Nothing that is particularly demanding because our opponents, humans as aliens, fall like flies against their abusers as invisible invincible. The arsenal is provided but any, customization of weapons to fly but always intelligent and underused aliens toys which we can finally reach the end unimaginative. This leaves the bow and a range of funny arrows (explosive, electric, etc.) that are fun as well as being absolutely unreasonable. One shot at every meal and, instead of guns, no dissipation of camouflage.

MINIMUM LIFE

To shoot on people is fun, but basically, when a demigod is undetectable control, vary the recipe a bit to avoid fatigue. Crysis 3 fails completely on this side because his fights are absolutely devoid of any tactical involvement or any variation throughout the solo. All our confrontations take place suddenly in exactly the same way from the beginning to the end of John of frightened soldier alien Malabar eight feet. Worse, the lack of original situations to get us out of this sad routine and we quickly feel like all the time the same. This feeling is especially funny when life displayed once the game is over we discover: 3:52 of effective playing time to see the end and it still manages to be bored for a good half game, or find all the endless finals.

Thetraditions of the genre are present because we all still dream of defending a position in the turret and occupy the seat of the shooter in a short passage by air. It is fresh, it is short, it is my boring modern FPS, buy crates little lady because at least it is beautiful. Although. Sometimes impressive and almost always fluid (despite the appearance of a few micro-freezes), Crysis 3 is also occasionally ugly or very ugly. Some textures are just filthy, pyrotechnic effects seem to come from the previous generation (or even before that) and the aliasing is so pronounced that it participates widely in camouflage our targets. It's nice to always advocate the superiority of gentlemen PC Crytek Studios but it is not a reason to make fun of console gamers.

SAVES YOUR MAXIMUM THUNE

The technical problems Crysis 3 does also not limited to the mere status window as the bugs are not lacking in the last SPF Crytek Studios. The bow and the Typhoon (a gun that shoots very quickly, how original) regularly cause large delusions of physics engine, causing unexpected breakdance competition or odometer catapult our enemies. Few phases vehicles are also rich in unfortunate interactions with the decor. Nothing more fun than a car built in a piece of pixel exceeds when the goal is five hundred meters away. Artificial intelligence has never been the strong point of the series and Battlefield 3 does not change a recipe that stinks: the enemies are easily deceived, which further adds to our sense of permanent overkill. This crass stupidity has more bad habit to alternate with short periods of localized omniscience which add to the chaos. In short, it is not very brilliant. The diversity of threats faced is also disappointing soldiers variable weapons but overall generic aliens have only three or four different flavors not more unforgettable. The very few bosses are a little more inspired in their design, but not necessarily revolutionary faced.

The architecture, Crysis 3 tried to combine the philosophies of the first and second episode of the series in the New York of the future. This results in levels that alternate between long corridors and small arenas falsely open, with side fill for those who really want to learn more about the scenario objectives. Mouif. Once again we regret that this third episode also represents a real technological demotion on certain points, such as at the opening and destruction of decorations. It is still and always away from the opulence of 2007 on these points. The idea of propelling us into a Manhattan taken by nature was good on paper but in reality, cross sets so demolished or futuristic adventure that could just as easily have happened to Bournemouth. There remains the multiplayer which obviously has its disposable means that absolutely anyone interested console because there is no written Halo or Call of Duty above but also sympathetic Hunter mode. This puts a small group of hunters armed with bows and invisible face a broader committee prey worse off in fairly stressful games. Not sure that's enough to popularize the online game, or even to justify the purchase, but it's still better than nothing.
